@SilverArrows @circus_maximus Well, according to what you said, the problem is with TP Link, not Linux as an OS, instead of compiling the code themselves and upstreaming it, they chose to let it stay non-compiled.
Most consumer hardware that is commonly used in the world already has drivers in the Linux kernel out of the box, so no install or even compiling needed.

@aj @furilabs For Halium, does it mean:
1. Recent (always updated) Linux kernel + driver blobs?
2. Old (can't/hard to be updated) Linux kernel + driver blobs?
I'm really curious since I liked this phone so much because of the hardware kill switches, high performance processor and high RAM capacity, plus everything works. But it's a bummer that it doesn't support the AT&T network.
