Everything was moving pretty efficiently, so I’m already out the door!

There were about fifty people in line behind me when I left, so not too busy. Based on the number of workers and equipment operating in parallel, I think the overall throughput was slightly better than one voter per minute.

Just got to my polling place 8 minutes before they open and there’s only 25 people ahead of me in line.

The retail partner network pulls the cards from the stores when their interface with the QuickTicket servers goes down—which seems to happens just often enough to align with every time I need to buy one.

They removed the list of partners from the website during one such outage, and didn't ever add it back, which makes me question their commitment to that part of the program.

Stumbled onto a speed metal show behind the UPS store on Main St.

The UPS employee taking the trash out to the dumpster so they can close was very surprised to have to wade through the crowd with her huge bag of garbage.

I happened to be seated in Stratford Festival’s Studio Theatre earlier today when three goblins hijacked the space to stage their own minimalist interpretation of the Scottish Play—with live accordion throughout.

Goblin:Macbeth runs through October 28th.

Strongly recommend.

Saw Paul Gross play King Lear tonight in Stratford, Ontario. I explained to my fiance that my first thought of “he is good at the mouth noises” is indicative of my ability as a theatre critic.

Solid performance from the whole cast, and the set design was intriguing.

Runs til the 29th.
