Dearest @mozilla@mastodon.social quit effing around with AI, get a proper #fediverse presence and fix frakin bugs like the one that keeps restoring open tabs when I open #Firefox when I have disabled and turned to false every flag related to this behavior. FFS.

I was just reminded of a convo I had with a FLOSS hardcore fanboy who saw I use #Linux but was disappointed I support the evil corpo by using a music streaming subscription.

I ended the conversation with something like "Dude, I have a wide range of music preferences, a single album can cost between a week and two weeks groceries and to feed my music addiction would be very expensive, so yes I pay the evil corpo subscription a year, which is only two weeks groceries"

For any folks in the #Fediverse using #ytdlp : is it working properly for yous? I just downloaded something from the evil site and after finishing, it won't let me download anything else, I get a forbidden message. On any video I try.

Helping the Young one troubleshoot a problem in their #Windows11 laptop we learned a few things about #MSOffice and Onedrive, it sucks: fails to sync, mysteriously blocks access to files, on demand can break everything if disabled/enabled, you can uninstall one drive but it leaves traces behind that may hinder future installs, if onedrive is uninstalled office refuses to work properly; oh and sometimes clicking the close icon on a tip in the configuration menu can cause onedrive to crash

On that last note after playing #XG 's latest production in an exhaustive (the young one would call it fastidious) manner I've come to the conclusion that out of The Core only "Rock the boat", "No good" and the gloriously dreamy "4 Seasons" will go to the playlist.

Just saw a post from some dude with a certain amount of public recognition saying that US folks need to act about recent events before they wake up in a nightmare.

And I'm like, you poor deluded wankstain - it already is a nightmare. And not just the US, and not recently.

It's amazing how some people happily carry on ignorant of the reality of the world we live in.

Been trying out tiling just for ish and giggles in my last days off. Honestly don't understand the appeal but I guess to each their workflow and tiling it's just not mine.
