After an intense beta phase where we poked, prodded, and tested the limits of our system, we are officially preparing to launch the Jumping Fridge Store. We are building a dedicated, easy-to-access space for accessible Windows applications, and we want your creations to be a part of it. Whether you are a solo indie dev or part of a small team, this is your invitation to join our ecosystem before we officially open the doors to the public. Our goal is simple: to create a centralized hub where users—especially those in the accessibility community—can find reliable, high-quality software without having to hunt through obscure forums or broken links. For now, we are focusing exclusively on Windows, and we want to populate the store with tools that actually make a difference.
We are currently accepting applications for our inaugural catalog. Because this is still an experiment and we are hoping for a smooth rollout, we are keeping the submission process straightforward. To apply, you simply need to provide your application name, a detailed description (preferably an external link to a site or GitHub repo), and a direct, permanent download link. Please note that the Jumping Fridge Store acts as a gateway and does not host your files for you; therefore, the link must remain active for users to access your software.
While we believe in developer autonomy, we do have a few hard lines to keep the store safe and reputable. The application must be 100% your own work. We have a zero-tolerance policy for unauthorized API access, which includes scraping paid services without permission, performing cracking activities, or attempting to bypass payment for features or software. Furthermore, any software that exhibits malicious behavior will be immediately disqualified.
Beyond those security rules, the floor is yours. We do not enforce specific programming languages, coding styles, or AI guardrails. Whether you code in Python, C++, AutoIt, or any other language that runs on Windows, you are welcome here. We want to see what the community has been building in the shadows and finally bring those tools into the light. This is an experiment and a leap of faith for all of us, so let's build something accessible and useful together. To apply, visit the link below, select the other category, and provide your project details.
