idk. I'll stick around. I can't be 100% private 100% of the time.

it's going to get worse before it gets better. ICE and the US federal government are attacking a peaceful, loving, thriving city. They're doubling down after an enormous expression of peace and solidarity yesterday. Murders on the streets. Witnesses of those murders are kidnapped.

really great when the streets I walk with friends and my child for food and fun are now overrun by untrained thugs who kill.

I don't know if I can stay here any more. I might be done with social media, completely. I don't want those in positions of power to know anything about me. I don't want them to know where I am or where I've been. I want as little of my information as possible slurped into Palantir software.
It's also really hard to imagine never sharing fun things with friends across the planet ever again. Maybe I can find a way to do that on Signal.
idk.
EDIT: I almost forgot I have an email newsletter. You can sign up here: https://www.kindohm.com/newsletter/

big day for the VSCode TidalCycles extension!
It took some work, but the extension now benefits from automated semantic versioning and releases to both github and the VSCode marketplace.
This is great because now a robot is in charge of all this, instead of the process all being in my head.
This also will expedite fixes and features to users.
Over the past month I've also overhauled the extension to be easier to maintain, added tests, and removed extra features that didn't seem to fit with the extension's intended scope.

need to cut a release for the Tidal extension for VS Code. I should do that this week.

Any users of the Tidalcycles extension for VS Code here?
We're currently overhauling the extension and I'm doing my best to be an active maintainer.
Our goal is to put the extension on par with the Pulsar plugin. We're tracking changes in the repo issue list, but it'd be great to hear from folks here too!
