#ProjectHalfDollarChaos : I've been stopping at every girl scout cookie booth I'm driving by to buy a box with a mix of half and dollar coins.

The girls have all been very good about knowing what they don't know and struggling with counting it all.

The mothers have been the source of ABSOLUTE CHAOS as they've been confidently telling their kids that all the coins are worth a dollar and the poor girls are staring at something that clearly says "HALF DOLLAR" on it and getting confused.

I've had several people correct me in the last week that nickels were never made out of silver.

If you have any nickels with the big mint mark above the building, I'll gladly buy them for 5 cents since I don't know what I'm talking about I guess.

OH: "Remember the good old days a few minutes ago when you thought there were only 7 layers in OSI?"

OH CRAP. I just walked into a bank branch and the branch manager asked me if I wanted my usual order. I'm now a "regular," but at a bank branch buying $300 in change.

#ProjectHalfDollarChaos : made the rounds of all the girl scout booths to restock on cookies using five dollar coins and four halves at each today.

One of the girls is looking at them, and first asks me if the gold ones are a dollar each and starts counting them.

Mom: "You're the first one to pay with change today! Kids these days, she probably can't even count change"

*Girl scout gets to the halves and the confusion continues*

Mom: "Those are also a dollar each darling"

Me: "Those are actually only half a dollar each... Moms these days..."

Mom: .....

Me: *grabs my box of caramel delights and runs*

One of my coworkers called me this week and went "hey, I've got these 12 350W solar panels I need to get rid of before we move. Can you come haul them away so we can stop worrying about them?"

Yes. Yes, as a matter of fact, I CAN haul your solar panels away for you. One of the perks of driving a pickup truck.

All these new people following me because of MLE is causing a new found pressure for me to be entertaining.

#ProjectHalfDollarChaos : the cashiers at the donut shop are all very comfortable with the dollar and half dollar coins I've been spending. They all take them without faltering now.
