I'm not having the best experience doing low-level engineering for the first time.
Bought an Espressif ESP32 based thing and it is disconnecting within two seconds of being plugged in via USB. Search engines are trash and AI provided no useful information either.
I hate technology.

Juat spent two hours failing to rewrite and deploy Zulip compose as quadlets. The feel of me being bad at deploying services is growing, but so I am more and more convinced all these services are just badly designed for interfacing with somethibg that isn't their homegrown shell script no one understands.

I am not a soup person, and the only thing I use spoons for is to pick up hard-boiled eggs to put them into the cold water to cool them down.
At home, I am convinced I used a spoon like maybe five times, in total.

I have tried to deploy #ejabberd. Gave up after I realized how underdocumented and confusing the configuration is, convinced I wouldn't be able to secure it enough.
Is there really no good #XMPP server that would just work? I am annoyed.

Today at work, I had to review two extremely slop work reports. One engineer is still young and it is fixable, for the other I have no hope.
Good thing AI can be as bitchy about code quality as it can provide slop. Saved me like an hour today. It's far from perfect, but well enough to prove a point.
