Und wieder einmal trifft es junge, arme, behinderte, geflüchtete Menschen. Wie tief muss man eigentlich sinken, um sich in einer Krise ausgerechnet an denen abzuarbeiten, die eh schon benachteiligt werden?

Hätte diese Regierung auch nur einen Funken Mut und Anstand, würde sie als erstes die mit den breitesten Schultern zur Verantwortung ziehen. Dazu hört man aber nichts. Im Gegenteil.

Trotzdem noch ein paar Gedanken zur aktuellen Debatte: Sexualisierte Gewalt - da gehören Deepfakes selbstverständlich dazu - gehört verurteilt. Es macht mich fassungslos, wie man sowas einem Menschen antun kann, geschweige denn der eigenen Partnerin. Ich finde es auch richtig, dass daran gearbeitet wird, so etwas hierzulande unter Strafe zu stellen. Wir sollten uns allerdings vor autoritärer Vereinnahmung des Themas verwehren, insb. Stichwort Vorratsdatenspeicherung. 10/10 🧵

Zusammenfassend heißt die Antwort für mich also erst einmal zu lernen, weiter zuzuhören und mich mit (hoffentlich) zunehmendem Wissen auch zunehmend einzubringen. Ich möchte aber die, die in dieser Debatte einfordern, dass Männer sich öffentlich äußern, bitten auch auf diejenigen Rücksicht zu nehmen, die erst noch ihre Stimme finden müssen und/oder nicht ganz der Norm entsprechen. Das steht auch nicht im Widerspruch zur - richtigen - Forderung, im privaten Umfeld Sexismus zu widersprechen. 9/10

Bis vor ein paar Jahren hatte ich noch versucht, mich an mein männliches Umfeld anzupassen. Als Autist bin ich Masking ja auch gewohnt. Inzwischen mache ich um Männerrunden aber einen Bogen. "Männerverhalten" habe ich früher noch unkritisch hingenommen, jetzt geht es mir ziemlich auf die Nerven. Was ist die Konsequenz daraus? Ich weiß es noch nicht. Dadurch, dass mir das alles erst die letzten Jahre nach und nach klar geworden ist, tue ich mir noch schwer, das alles richtig einzuordnen. 8/10

Zum Beispiel Geschlechterrollen: Damit konnte ich noch nie viel anfangen. Warum "müssen" Männer sich dominant verhalten? Fußball mögen? Den Harten spielen? Sich über Job und Status definieren? Obwohl ich mich männlich präsentiere und zu einen großen Teil diese Geschlechterrolle über die Jahre auch verinnerlicht habe, lehne ich z.B. Dominanz- und Statusgehabe ab. Dieses ist aber scheinbar fest mit der cis-männlichen Geschlechterrolle verbunden. 7/10

Je mehr ich mich mit dem Thema Geschlechterrollen und -politik auseinandersetze, desto klarer wird mir aber auch, dass das ein Thema ist, das mir intuitiv nur schwer zugänglich ist. Das erzeugt sehr viel Unsicherheit, vor allem bei einem so kontrovers diskutierten Thema. Hier spielt wohl auch meine Neurodivergenz eine Rolle: Geschlechterrollen sind auch ungeschriebene soziale Regeln. Ich muss mir das Wissen dazu, das andere oft schon mitbringen erst kognitiv erarbeiten. 6/10

Diese Erfahrung - also ohne es zu merken so dermaßen falsch gelegen zu haben - hat mich gelinde gesagt verunsichert. Ursprünglich wollte ich mich deshalb sogar aus dem Thema Politik insgesamt raushalten. Das ist aber nicht möglich. Zum einen weil eben alles politisch ist, ob man will oder nicht, und zum anderen weil die Gesellschaft immer weiter nach rechts rückt. Wenn man will, dass sich etwas zum Positiven ändert, muss man eben auch den Mund aufmachen. 5/10

Eine politische Konstante in meinem Leben ist, dass ich mich immer als antiautoritär gesehen habe. Dass aber auch libertäre Politik im Ergebnis autoritär sein kann, weil sie Macht- und Verteilungsaspekte nicht berücksichtigt, und dass autoritäre Kräfte antiautoritäre Rhetorik taktisch einsetzen, ist mir erst viel zu spät klar geworden. Diese Unkenntnis hatte bei mir damals politische Positionen hervorgebracht, bei denen ich heute nur noch mit dem Kopf schütteln kann. 4/10

Erst die Lockdowns haben mich aus diesem Umfeld herausgeholt. Ich hatte auf einmal die nötige Zeit und Distanz, mich kritisch damit auseinanderzusetzen und mit falschen Freunden zu brechen. Umgekehrt habe ich mich gegenüber feministischen und queeren Perspektiven und Positionen geöffnet. Ich habe angefangen, zuzuhören und Sexismus wahr- und ernstzunehmen. Das hat mir die Augen geöffnet. Allen, die sich jetzt ebenso auf dem Holzweg befinden kann ich nur dasselbe wünschen. 3/10

Mit Anfang 20 hatte ich mich nämlich noch in einem Umfeld bewegt, das man wohl am ehesten als toxische Männerrunde bezeichnen kann. In dem rechtslibertäre und antifeministische Ansichten die Norm waren. In dem ein Typ, der doppelt so alt war wie der Rest, den Ton angegeben hatte (und in dem ich als Waise wohl auch eine Art Ersatzvater gesehen habe). Ich hielt diese Runde damals sogar für subversiv und antiautoritär und habe mich mitreißen lassen, wofür ich mich heute sehr schäme. 2/10

Die aktuelle Debatte hat mir nochmal klargemacht, wie schwer es mir eigentlich noch immer fällt, mich zu feministischen Themen zu äußern. Ich wünsche mir sehr eine Gesellschaft ohne Patriarchat, ohne Gewalt, ohne rigide Geschlechterrollen und zugehörige Erwartungen, ohne Dominanzgesten und Mackergehabe. Das ist mir aber erst in den letzten Jahren so langsam bewusst geworden und ich habe nach wie vor das Gefühl, in dieser Frage noch ganz am Anfang zu stehen. 🧵 1/10

@Kaddastrophe Nee, kommt mir auch sehr bekannt vor. Mein "Lieblingsalbtraum" (/s) im Moment ist, dass ich in schwierige soziale Situationen gerate und dann der versammelten Gruppe erstmal lautstark meine Meinung geige. Was ich im echten Leben gelernt habe, lieber nicht zu tun.
