I am working on a bot that reposts all the #trump bullshit from Truth, here on the fediverse.

I created one on the @Mastodon@mastodon.social server, but it got banned. Is this something that will be allowed on C.im?

I'm conflicted about this.

On one hand, I believe that social networks, especially the external manipulation of them, pose a threat to democracy.

One of democracy's core pillars is the availability of impartial and reliable information, which has been compromised recently as clickbait and agenda-driven posts have become primary sources of news.

However, even if unintentionally, having AI chatbots steering conversations toward certain perspectives still constitutes a form of manipulation.

So disappointing.
It took one week and few hours of work to create a bot to repost all #trump idiotic messages from Truth to @Mastodon@mastodon.social, and they took it down 😒

My @trump_truth account got suspended after 2 days.

I just developed a bot that scans the #trump profile on Truth Social, takes every new post, and re-posts it here in the fediverse.

That was a coding exercise for me, and also a way to show his nonsense to everyone.

@Mastodon@mastodon.social suspended the account. I appealed, let's see

I love using AI for my side projects, brainstorming ideas, coding, and so on, but I think that using AI-generated content for official institutional communication raises some questions

I am working on creating a bot that automatically posts the #trump bubbling posts from this social network, Truth, here on #mastodon

I have zero coding experience, so I am using Manus for coding, and everything is public on #github

It is working more or less, but requires a lot of polishing and stability fixes.
