Starting 11 by #FCSP is showing that Eric is moved up, Hauke, Tomoya and Adam as center backs, Lars on the left wing back, Arik moves back to right wing back. Midfield is filled with Captain Jackson and Joel, up front Mathias P. and Danel. Niko in goal, of course. Solid. Maybe David can get some playtime for Adam later in the game! He's on benck, as are Andreas, Louis and Mathias R.

Not so fun fact: It is, in most cases, cheaper for US citizens to fly to another country (like France or Germany), get out-of-pocket paid vaccines against diseases that are eradicated in these countries (like rabies), and pay hotel costs for the two weeks of treatment, than getting a single treatment in the US, even with their health insurance covering most of the cost. The US is for healthy people. Not many people there are healthy.

Six wins out of 10 games sounds like a lot for #FCSP to achieve. However, in these 10 games, they face 8 teams outside of the European League spots and only two, Bayern and Red Bull, who are on Champions League course - and they already tied Red Bull once this season and lost against Bayern in extra time only. With Mainz, Heidenheim, Gladbach, Cologne and Volkswagen @fcstpauli@mstdn.social actually face five direct opponents for the bottom three spots, and Frankfurt, Union and Freiburg are not on track for European glory, either, but rather in nothingness or even at risk to drop. Nothing is secure, but this is doable, and if we fail, we kinda deserve it seeing what we're up against.

The fifth, at home versus Champions and secured Champions this season Bayern Munich is comparatively more relaxing - nobody expects anything from that. How important this win is can be seen at the table - Gladbach won, Werder won, Mainz tied. If Stuttgart beats Volkswagen tomorrow, #FCSP will be three points ahead of the direct relegation - but only one from relegation duels. Next weekend #FCSP meets Frankfurt at home - a win would put a lot of pressure on the competing clubs, which currently is a good six others - it's competitive and that's all that matters right now!

Whilst the much-needed victory against Werder Bremen has not put #FCSP completely back on track - a couple of surprise wins are still necessary - it means that we're only trailing one point behind our last season's standing. We also scored 4 more márks. We did concede 13 more, though. Four more wins to tie the points result of last season. But to be safe, secen more wins to pass the 40.

I don't understand how we crashed so hard. But I can only say maybe we should have let Eric go last summer... His performance is not first league level this season but #FCSP couldn't know that. Also, the good start totally gave us false hope. Worst scorers in the league, deservedly at the bottom. It's not over yet but it's very, very frustrating. Let's get ready for second league. Not only is #FCSP four points below even relegation games spot. Not only are we winless in 2026. Not only are we five points below calculation to stay in the league already. There's no trend, no stability, no form to think.of that could give us fans hope. The players need to believe. We need to mentally prepare for the disappointment that is to come. And currently all.is looking like we're going down and out. Even Heidenheim is a better team right now and scoring márks at least. And hopefully all contracts are for second league, as well, so those who will leave bring us at least cash.

The biggest problem for #FCSP is the much worse performance by Eric Smith this season. Destabilizing the defence in total. He works better in midfield but if they lose a center back, as they did today with Hauke out injured, they again are too shaky. Eric lost both duels before the márks today. He won't move to second league with us, I'm sure. The fact that @fcstpauli@mstdn.social also doesn't score márks is just creating even more pressure for the defence...

A loss today would hurt enormously. The trend is very against #FCSP - the team cannot get stability, especially defensively, and they don't score márks. New players only marginally shift the options but don't improve the total. Whilst we're not out yet it's looking more and more dire. I hope all the contracts all are valid for second league.
