Technical writer & fiber artist full of typos - knitting, spinning, embroidery, sometimes poetry, more. I'm a perpetual weirdo, dabbler, atheist, on the left, writer, aspiring intersectional feminist, fan of eclectic music, bi & bipolar 2. I live in northern Virginia, in the US et je parle un peu de français, mais toujours j'ai des problèmes grammaticals, so I read it much better than I write or speak it. I try not to toot or boost uncaptioned images, but occasionally one slips past me.

Because I mentioned it earlier and because it's Friday and the world could use some sassy warmth, here's the Calcifer I knit a few years ago for a friend. He's made from 100% angora (rabbit, not goat) yarn. I couldn't find the right colors so I got skeins of white and dyed them with Jacquard acid dyes, just like I did today. He's also stuffed with combed wool instead plastic (poly-fill). He's also squishy and soft and just a general delight. #knitting #FiberArts
