The @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu will not publish guidelines on which AI systems will fall under the AI Act’s high-risk rules by Saturday, a spokesperson confirmed to me. The document was already delayed from the legal deadline of 2 February.

We got our hands on Parliament’s draft report for the AI omnibus. The rapporteurs want to set fixed high-risk deadlines but don’t mention banning “pornification” AIs, which is being eyed in the wake of the Grok scandal.
