Right saw this being boosted by someone else, who remarked that someone famous boosted this.

Personally I think this is a really amazing piece of work that deserves some recognition - including the sculptor's name which is missing in the boosted screen shot.

so after boosting the boost myself, two people then engaged in a conversation about the person who originally boosted and completely ignored the sculpture and its creator.

if anyone knows who she is, I'd be more than happy to add her name to it.

(yes this is a bit of a wtf subtoot, but hopefully we can find out who made this)

Oh, and while Rib said it wasn't worth the effort to make it work on MT1939 drives personally, he said it should be possible. I'd rather not bother him with these efforts.

If I'm otherwise useless to these efforts, I can at least share remote access to a virtual machine with real drives connected to a passed through SATA card, in Windows, Linux, whatever is preferred. I

@maddy you really need to get your hands on the proper datasheets and technical reference manuals for both chipsets - those will tell you how the devices work internally and make life a lot easier in terms of porting support from one device to another
