Introducing: Cookie Voice Recipes

From Daria, the developer of Cookie Voice Recipes — a voice-controlled cooking assistant for iPhone that I built specifically with blind and low vision
cooks in mind. Screen readers can read a recipe, but you're constantly swiping, losing your place, and touching your phone with messy hands. (Plus, most
recipe sites are basically the opposite of accessible.)

Cookie lets you follow recipes hands-free. You wake it up by saying "Cookie," then ask things like "how much butter?" or "what's next?" whenever you need
it. It also handles timers, lets you upload your own recipes, and syncs across devices.

It's free to download — the vast majority of features are free, with an optional premium tier at $2.99/ month. It's gotten over 800 downloads now, and
she has spoken about it on the DoubleTap podcast last month.

Well, it's official. I can finally kick good old crappy Adobe Reader to the curb. In comes Foxit PDF reader, as they've enabled accessibility support. Plus, I have found a portable version of it and it even lets you fill out PDF forms. So Adobe go bye bye and now I have something that is actually quite snappy to use.
