Hey! We couldn’t be there at the Embedded World 2026, but Comet has made an appearance. Meet the Comet at our friends and design partners booth - Silicon Signals, Hall 4, Booth 500b.

Comet's aluminium frame serves two functions:
- Impacts: Acts as a roll cage, absorbing impact before it reaches the PCB/ components
- Thermals: Processor dissipates up to 2W under load; added LTE or NVMe on the M.2 slot means multiple heat sources in a dense package

Flame is a powerful 2D game engine built on top of Flutter, enabling developers to ship games to Android, iOS, Web and Desktop from a single codebase.

For the battery on the Comet, we use a push connector instead of soldered/glued battery.

Specs:
- 4100mAh capacity
- 4A discharge current (high performance)
- Standard 3-pin connector
- Push connector for easy replacement/alternatives
- No special tools required

The M.2 expansion slot on the Comet enables LTE, LoRa, WiFi, NVMe expansion for mobile field diagnostic tools, off-grid communication devices or even industrial monitoring!

A 10-layer PCB with 900 components into a pocket-sized device. Port placement on Comet wasn't arbitrary.

Each is positioned for:
- Physical balance
- Thermal management
- Usage ergonomics
- Manufacturing feasibility

Comet has three hardware kill switches - WiFi, camera, microphone. They don't just toggle a software flag. They physically cut power at the circuit level.

We've designed Comet's IO board for easy access to the 40 GPIOs.
