Do you run Mixxx on macOS? We need your help to test two fixes: accessing a traktor library from sandboxed Mixxx (https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/16205) and also rekordbox (https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/16237)

Mixxx Stable 2.5.6 released!

This version contains updates and fixes for bugs, as well as improvements to effects, controller mappings, and overall stability. Note that v2.5.5 has been skipped following an issue in the release workflow. Thank you to all our users for their feedback and please join our team to help make Mixxx even better!

The open source community lost an important member recently. Robert Kaye, aka mayhem, was the founder, inspirator and motivator of MusicBrainz. We published a short memorial to him on our blog.

## Back to School, back to DVS.

We're proud to announce a new stable release of Mixxx: version 2.5.3, this version not only contains updates and fixes for some issues reported by users, but it also contains improvements to the Digital Vinyl System (DVS) support. These improvements are the result of some bright new insights of developers spinning the wheel instead of sunbathing.
