Recently got a marine science PhD. Now doing data science stuff with river flow data, and learning te reo Māori. A sci-fi/fantasy nerd, gamer geek (board games, video games, ttrpg), and into fiction writing. I play tam and agogo in a samba drum and dance band, and occasionally djembe at drum circles. I enjoy hatha yoga. Reasonably good cook (specialising in soups and stews), a novice vegetable gardener. Also: a (probably (undiagnosed)) autistic transgender Chinese-American.
