Still - how about some Amiga Action magazine coverdisks? One of which featuring no less than 21 PD games which thankfully I've already played ten of. And after that it's a demo of the infamous Valhalla (you know, that annoying speech adventure they wanted to hype so much) so it doesn't get less painful.

We should be holding a tournament too depending on numbers (not sure on the game yet). If your New Year's Resolution (other than 320x256) is to get to more meetups, then this is a good start - hope to see lots of people there!

Anyway, wishing you all a Happy New Year from the #Norwich #Amiga Group! I hope 2026 is a truly great year for everyone, and for NAG of course. We've certainly had a busy time this year with nine group meets, plus a visit to the Norwich Games Festival and the Amiga@40 event in Cambridge during the summer, too.

2026 looks to be even more packed, with the third Kickstart event in Derby happening in August, as well as OLL '26 in April here in Norwich.

We've truly built a large and welcoming community, and hopefully that will be even more so in the next twelve months. I'll even get round to posting an event schedule soon (honest).

Wow, just logged in for the first time in ages as I had an email saying I'd been mentioned in a post, followed by lots of... well... followers!

So thank you for that! The #Norwich #Amiga world is a busy one and this site is the one to take a back seat more often than not, unfortunately. On Twitch later and then plenty of work to do for the next meet on 14th August. I really should post a bit more here though!

Possibly some photos later from the Amiga event at the Computing History Museum in Cambridge last weekend - that was a great time!

These are my moderation settings - I don't think I've ever changed them! So whether they've done something that overrides this I don't know but if that's the case, why have the options like this in the first place?

Happy birthday to... us! #Norwich #Amiga Group is EIGHT years old today. I fondly recall that Saturday evening at the Coachmakers Arms pub, where three of us met up to discuss all things Amiga and about how great it would be to hold an actual local Amiga event one day.

I guess with over 1000 Facebook group members and 51 'proper' group meets behind us (not to mention the many other events we've been part of), we've probably ticked that box.

Roll on Thursday for our 52nd meet, and a celebration of our latest anniversary...

Gratuitous plug (sorry but ignore if you wish)... recently Twitch decided they're going to severely limit space for uploads and highlights, which will massively impact me as I've stored loads of old streams on there. To deal with this, I set up a YouTube channel solely for uploading my old streams, so if this is something you think you'd find vaguely interesting occasionally (probably not because rewatching old #Amiga streams is very niche!) then do go check it out and drop a sub, thank you :) I aim to get all my coverdisk stream series and others there in their own playlists eventually!
