>This automated system analyzed information across 305 internal servers, rapidly producing 2,597 structured intelligence reports. By automating the data analysis phase, a single operator successfully processed an intelligence volume that would traditionally require an entire team.

That wasn't my intent. This is me saying, "of course that's what they're going to do because there's nothing else they *can* do."

Ah, the solution that recognizes there's no way to eliminate AI from the supply chain after it's already been introduced.

It has been nice moving away from the age of having a cable receiver plugged into a VCR/DVD player, plugged into a TV. Adding any new hardware feels like a regression in that regard.

Not to excuse this app, but unless *any* app is from a trusted source I think it's safe to assume all your data is being sold off.

No, wife bad because she’s the antagonist to husband’s fun.
It’s a well-documented thing, I’m honestly surprised I have to explain it right now.

U.S. still depends on China, despite years of onshoring efforts.
Reminds me of that time when one president signed a bill to move chip production to the US then the next president raided the chip-making facility and arrested all those chip-making people for trying to show the locals how to make chips.

It’s the era where the CIA was operating within US borders, torturing and experimenting on US citizens. Women couldn’t have bank accounts. Everything had lead in it. Workers were basically huffing asbestos.
I could go on, but you get the idea. I’m sure it was nice for a few people, but the average American was worse off than you or I today.

The NYT doesn’t seem to dislike the Internet Achive specifically. They just want to protect their content from AI scrapers.
I’m not sure what the solution is, but I know any legislation that would address it likely won’t be around until one or both sites go under.
