Nothing is your fault!! It is unfair to tell your followers it wasn’t disclosed when it very much was, but that’s minor. The world massively sucks right now, so I’m happy to be a punching bag for the day. :)

But, I do sincerely ask, if you can think of a better, more sustainable model, that’s more fair than what we’ve done (keep what you buy! skip updates!), we are (seriously) all ears.

• The annual update option has been on that page since Nova 1.0 launched in 2020.
• Since you didn’t see it, we’ll think about ways to make it more prominent!
• There are no in-app purchases in Nova.
• We have never added AI functionality to Nova.
• Here’s the full list of changes since Nova 1.0! So many! https://nova.app/releases/
• The whole idea is: do not pay for Nova updates if you don’t need them! And keep what you buy!
