The Dutch and German dinner after a day at the EU Internet standards forum in Brussels. We did good work today specifying standards that we want on the list for secure email. DANE is among them. It’s not set in stone yet, but we are working towards it. 😌

More than 25 years in the business and today is the first time. Believe it or not - I’m super excited as I have been asked to give a rather personal presentation on my work on improving SMTP and DNS security. Work on this is hard, slow, complex and often frustrating as the problems are not of technical nature - most of the time. It feels good to receive recognition for this. :-)

Der Ukraine Krieg hat CISA@messages.cisa.gov wiederbelebt. Gefühlt kam da Jahre nichts und jetzt vergeht kein Tag an dem sie nicht ein oder mehrere advisories herausgeben.
