no story til tomorrow, but a teaser chronology: only "boy" in indoor color guard in high school, near death experience 1st year of college, suicide attempt 3rd year of college, 17 years of "functional" alcoholism, suicide attempt 2018, then sober 8 years, out as enby 2 years ago, out as me... now! 🤸🏻♀️

because back in 2018 i got salty about systemd for reasons other than AI.
i recall transition from Debian to Devuan being kind of ludicrously simple. /home was its own partition, so dumped "apt list --installed" to a text file backup there. installed Devuan over Debian, keeping the home partition intact (so .local and .config stay). some light scrubbing on the apt list, pass that back to apt-get install. voila.
