The one thing I really appreciate when using Dropwizard vs anything else in terms of Java web frameworks is it feels like just using Java! Yes there are niceties to use but at the end its is a main method being run and everything follows and can be inspected easily. It makes it so much easier to learn how things work!

@zaire@fedi.absturztau.be true, I do think however that taking a step back and actually adding the controls is a good thing. Would it have been the right thing to have this from the beginning? Yes! Is there value in fixing this now? Also yes! And to be honest most companies don't even care enough to do the bare minimum, and still it is almost impossible to get away from all of them, so I'm happy to have at least some tiny light shining, even if it is the bare minimum.

@holger@mastodon.de habs bei mir auf dem Desktop laufen und via Helm im k8s installiert alles super easy und den Import von Google Photos via immich-go hat alle Alben erhalten... echt top!

Nothing says "This is such a great feature everyone can't wait to use" like pushing an ad for it in my face while using the product it is contained in every time I open it. Looking at you Atlassian, Google, and friends, if I find your AI features useful I know where to find them no worries! So far they haven't been useful so...
