In September 2023, not just one but two scientometrics-related events took place in Leiden: the @cwts@social.cwts.nl Scientometrics Summer School and the @sti2023@social.cwts.nl conference. Our author Carlos Manuel Vilchez Román attended both events and reflects on his experience.
