My go to sanity checking is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F_cpaCRMBM who seems to be on the level about health care systems and some of the deeper things going on.
I liked his comparison of the UK system. Where he nailed exactly what the issues are, but even starved by American lobbing the NHS is still better than anything the USA. And I miss it.
