@avilewis Every conservative government I have lived under, either in the UK or here in Canada, does this kind of bullshit. Cut social services, cut programs that help people, demonise people who are struggling or suffering, and pad the pockets of the already wealthy. This "strain on social services" is because Smith and her cronies won't put money into them, they've been hacking away at them for years. They made this problem and now they're using it to victimise someone else.
