The current U.S. administration’s view of Europe is more ideological than informed, often criticizing Europe’s political choices and pushing “America First” policies. Meanwhile, the U.S. faces major domestic challenges—political division, economic pressures, and legal battles—that many argue should take priority over reshaping Europe. In short: their focus on Europe seems misplaced when America itself needs attention. IMO
