The phrase "human-chauvinistic" somehow triggered me, because I also see a certain "math-chauvinism" where mathematicians somehow believe that they are these unique unicorns in the way they think and teach and all their sacred traditions elevate them above the rest of humanity. This xkcd is an example of that: https://xkcd.com/435/ I don't like it.
