This is one of my very favorite songs of Flogging Molly. I used to listen to it on my way to work. It has a lot of meaning for me, especially the phrase, a ripe old age, that’s what I am, a ripe old age, just doing the best I can. Especially now, recovering from surgery when I feel more weak and vulnerable.

I'm a eclectic reader and love learning about everything. I'm naturally curious. I have an obsession with knitting and crochet and must knit and/or crochet everyday. I also love cooking. So most of my posts are about knitting,crochet and/or food. I try to follow a vegetarian diet, but I'm not always sucessful. However, I keep aiming in that direction. I also have a husband that is in early stages of Alzheimers and has Non-Hogdkins Lymphoma and I sometimes post about that. I'm mostly happy and have a weird sense of humor.
