I could figure something out, but most likely it would turn out to be some kind of Shetland lace thing that I would be too intimidated to knit. I love lace, but I don’t particularly like knitting it because too easy to make mistakes and hard to frog it back.

When I was in the hospital I had an MRI, so I had to take out my nose piercing. I haven’t had any desire to put my jewelry back in. I’m happy I had it for a while, but also content not having it now.

Picture frame number one: I see a white mask lowering down onto my face. The anesthesiologist is saying,” Let’s put this mask on.”
Picture frame number two. A friendly face staring at me saying, “ She’s coming around. You did a fantastic job.!” There are no frames to edge in between one and two. Absolutely none.
Picture frame number three: I have my eyes closed as the nurse takes me back to my room, going one way and then another direction, because the first time around made me nauseous. I was exclaiming, “That surgery was the best surgery ever. I remember
nothing!”
And so it goes.

You can tell I’m old because I’ve been mourning the loss of Newspapers this afternoon. I miss reading the comics and Dear Abby. I miss doing the crossword puzzle. I miss having something big to hide behind when I didn’t want to interact with anyone when out in public. Now it’s all in my tiny phone.
