Woohoo! I've been fasting for 2 days now (except for vegetable broth) in preparation for my stomach surgeries Tuesday. And I've dropped 10 pounds of weight already!
Any weight loss will help make the surgery a greater success.

Three good things:
-> I finally was able to manage cleaning my entire apartment from top to bottom, including my kitty's automatic litter box deeply! Haven't been able to fully do this in more than 5 months.
-> I have my second visit with my rockstar GP/PCP tomorrow where we'll catch up on the outstanding issues and a half dozen needed referrals.
-> Got to briefly visit with my queer neighbor across the hall whilst coming back from the mailbox. Hadn't seen them in a month or more.

Three good things:
-> Having a soothing Caturday with my kitty, and got a mile-long walk in for groceries with minimal pain.
-> I was able to renew my apartment lease for nearly double the current term length, with only a small bump in base rent. This will make me feel safe in having a stable home environment.
-> Monday I do the fingerprinting and begin the two background checks necessary to start the legal name change in Colorado.

I was introduced to the light comedy TV show DMV with its great ensemble cast chemistry on Paramount+ streaming. When I learned this week that it did not get renewed for a second season, I made a point of purchasing the whole season on my payday.
I know it won't help the actors and staff who made it much, but I hope there might be just a blip of "hey, maybe this should have been allowed to exist longer." Plus, I got to support the creatives in some small way.
Bonus: I get to enjoy this show for the season it was for years to come!
