@Broadfork Slow worms would be nice to have but have not seen any yet on my allotment, nice you have them on your plot. Had grass snake visiting one year, probably because of the frogs which was nice. Great you have newts in your pond, always nice to see when all the wildlife arrives in a new pond. Yes my ponds are all different, 2 ponds are very small but are used by frogs and birds, the frog pond is sunny and warm, the larger newt pond is more shady, much deeper and stays cooler in summer.
