Central Alberta, Canada here: Not sure of the dates, but there was a really slow evening a couple weeks ago. Better the next day. A day or two after that I think you'd announced you were going to do some maintenance to sort something out, and then it was fine for a while. Occasionally media-loading still chugs...especially with older posts?
