I think someone smarter than me could probably write about this in relationship to cancel culture, ghosting, and people being extreme flakes. Maybe I'll write it one day. But just like I believe in "be cringe be free" I also believe that if you are historically a people pleaser who can find themselves inadvertently getting very resentful of others (like me) then getting very comfortable with negotiations is one of the most important skills you can learn.
