@distrowatch @kde What is a "pure KDE" system? Pretty much everyone has been using SDDM for ten years now. SDDM is even maintained by someone who is also a KDE contributor. And we have a LightDM greeter maintained by a different KDE contributor.
So if you want a "pure KDE" system (which I guess means maximizing components from the KDE project?), then use the LightDM KDE greeter.
Or just keep using SDDM. The Plasma integrations are still maintained and developed.
