@KimSJ@mastodon.social You're right - mass _peaceful_ protest brings down tyrannical governments (DDR, Romania, Shah's Iran, etc, etc.). But no, we've been told that the #2A much vaunted for years by the #GunNuts was the bulwark defending U.S. democracy against over-reach by an oppressive government. Yet, we've not heard a peep from Gun Nuts, mostly cos they've likely all taken jobs as #ICEcoldKillers! No bad thing - with so many guns on both sides, armed resistance will cost far too many innocent lives.
