Go-Ahead #London has marked a major milestone with its 1,000th zero-emission bus entering service in the capital. The vehicle was charged by Seb Dance and Mete Coban. The fleet is expected to cut carbon emissions by around 60,000 tonnes a year, the equivalent of removing about 37,500 cars from London’s roads. Nearly half of the operator’s 170 routes are now fully zero-emission. Go-Ahead London runs more than 2,500 #buses and carries over one million passengers daily.
