Local sources in Torkham have told Harat Radio’s local correspondent that clashes have erupted again in Torkham this morning, with exchanges of light and heavy weapons fire between the two sides. Torkham Commissioner Mullah Taj Muhammad Naqshbandi stated that Afghan forces have destroyed the enemy’s commissioner’s office, military units, and three important towers in Torkham. He said that these attacks have inflicted heavy casualties on Pakistani soldiers.
