Follow-up, 9th Fighting has begun between the Taliban and Pakistani border posts in the Shamluzo district of Zabul, in the Zenjheer and Qala-e-Rashid areas. Pakistani military regime forces have targeted civilians in attacks in eastern Afghanistan. Khalid bin Waleed Corps spokesman Wahid Muhammadi, speaking from the east, says that Pakistani air force attacks have only targeted civilian areas. Muhammadi adds that since Friday night’s retaliatory operation, a total of 75 Pakistani military regime soldiers have been killed and nearly 50 others wounded in the east. During this period, 16 posts have also been seized by Afghan defense forces. Local sources in Torkham have told Harat Radio’s local correspondent that clashes have erupted again in Torkham this morning, with exchanges of light and heavy weapons fire between the two sides. Torkham Commissioner Mullah Taj Muhammad Naqshbandi stated that Afghan forces have destroyed the enemy’s commissioner’s office, military units, and three important towers in Torkham. He said that these attacks have inflicted heavy casualties on Pakistani soldiers.
