Work has begun on the construction of a control room and switchgear project to absorb 40 megawatts of solar power from the Sheikh Mesri Solar Plant at the Nangarhar Spring Station. The project, costing approximately 10 million Afghanis, is being implemented by the Asma Sky Sherzad Company.

Air Force personnel from Nangarhar rescued 104 nationals during a rescue operation, who were trapped in the floods.

Of these people, 5 were in Besud, 96 in Goshta, and 3 were facing danger in the Daron’ta area.

Due to recent heavy rainfall, three women have been killed in an incident where the roof of a house collapsed in the village of Gandamak, affiliated with the Shirzad district of Nangarhar province.

It is worth noting that dozens of citizens have been killed and injured due to similar incidents in various provinces of the country as a result of recent consecutive rainfall.
