Castrovel Insirational Pic of the Week - Artist is Yangyang Sui, who can be found on Artstation.
I have realized, somewhat belatedly, that I have unconsciously made snakes the symbol of evil in Lashunta Culture, despite the fact that I think snakes are cool. I suppose I'm showing my Howardian influence, propagating from Set the Old Serpent in his Conan stories.
One question that I keep asking myself: while Lashunta acknowledge that snarkes aren't inherently evil, what would induce to ally with the horrific forces they have come to represent in Lashunta Symbology? The eldritch evil once wielded on Castrovel by the Moqeva, and which quite possibly still lurks in forgotten burrows or in the dark spaces between the stars, far beyond Burning-Mother's light and Father-Night's protective cloak. One obvious answer is power, but it almost feels insufficient by itself.
