What is very cool about this feature is that it allows admins to add RSS feeds to all users in their server. This helps a lot with thematic servers: Want to start, say, a car enthusiasts community? Make it welcoming and useful to your members from the start by giving them a nice set of RSS feeds with car news, the biggest car magazines, relevant blogs etc. On catodon.rocks I added some fedi-related RSS feeds: Connected places ( @fediversereport@mastodon.social ), The Future Is Federated ( @_elena@mastodon.social ) and We Distribute ( @WeDistribute@flipboard.com ).
