I've done 6502 assembly before, but here's where the fun begins...

Doing 6502 assembly and fighting every single constraint the Atari 2600 is gonna have and try and throw at me.

128 bytes of RAM. No frame buffer. Racing the beam. Just 5 dedicated sprites (2 players, 2 missiles, 1 ball) and a playfield. 2 channels of mono sound.

It was fiendishly difficult to code for even back in the 70s and early 80s.

Sounds like fun. Let's see where it goes.
