I think AWS and I disagree on the importance of their "from" address on invoices.

People at the buffet got really angry at me for eating one thing while in line for another. It just makes sense dude. You see a line, you grab a snack!

File formats that are actually zip files with files and directories inside that do reasonable things are the bees knees.

Since Trump took office US states that rely on tourism have noticed fewer and fewer Canadians arriving. Articles about the issue usually dance around the root cause (overt threats of annexation or financial war, human & legal rights don't matter to ICE, etc.) chalking it up to "politics".

What I find funny is how US states want to work on the issue by... running some ads in Canada. Maybe a discount.

I spent 8 minutes this morning navigating the FedEx phone tree and talking to a robot about how I wanted to pay the duties on an incoming package. Then I spent 4 more minutes going through a text message authorization work flow. All to get it to text me the url: fedex.ca/paynow Somewhere in the datavaults of phone recordings FedEx has is a recording of me going "ffffffffuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkk" when I realized how much work I just put into such an easy URL.

I was expecting a package on Tuesday, that appears to be stuck in FedEx purgatory. I do not live in Memphis.
