Interesting to see how much Matrix grew in popularity in the past 48h after the dust settled
... Also, note to self to trust my intuition more
I will say, Matrix is not perfect at all (especially in regards to how much power Element HQ has over it), but it seems to be the most robust federated alternative to Discord that exists from what I've seen.
