@realmurphy@social.linux.pizza
mastodon 4.5.7

Scientist turned admin in or around #hannover

Using #linux for more than 25yrs

Mostly #debian GNU/Linux

Juggles more servers than I can readily (ac)count (for)

Can be usually found lost within nitty gritty details of configuration management, quick hacks and their dire consequences

Helpless in figuring out why users do things ~weirdly~ the way they do

Trying to bike more and use cars less

Go figure. Lief insgesamt etwa 9 Monate.

@felixule@techtett.de for my current main #homelab system, I did go the expensive ECC route. Well, I thought it was expensive about a year ago. Main reason is that in my #dayjob we do have quite a number of systems reporting both correctable and uncorrectable ECC errors from time to time. Thus, I do think it's worthwhile but at the moment not so much 😦 @homelab@fedigroups.social

@ij@nerdculture.de Same here.
