Another prime #claude code use case: asset pipelines. Necessary but tedious. Vibed myself a pipeline that takes my .vox voxel world generates individual .glb models and voxel shells as custom json that I can explode. All in a matter of minutes. #gamedev #threejs

Going to compare Qwen-Coder to #claude code. Would like to move inference local. Got a 2080 sitting idle while I code and if that is useful, the whole unified memory arch of the M-Series chips makes Metal rather attractive over trying to plunk down the cash for a 32GB GPU for local inference.

This is where #claude code really proves its worth. Needed a level editor to avoid assembling them by hand and in one evening got one put together. Now I can concentrate on game logic, rather than tooling. #gamedev #threejs

What keeps me hooked on #arcRaiders is that virtually every night creates a story of its own. I’m a PvE player and 90% of the time that lands me in PvE lobbies but the risk of rats is always there.

Last night I’m at Plaza Rosa taking pop shots at a Bombardier with my Hullcracker when I hear “Turn around” from behind. I do and take a shotgun to the face. Last thing I see is a pair standing over me as they knock me out.

I’m not even mad. It was one of the more entertaining ways I’ve died

For one-off maintenance scripts, #claude code is an amazing time saver. I certainly won't let it execute them or even execute them myself without review, for this type of script, I don't mind being the Human in the loop and it still saves a lot of time and headaches. YMMV

A while back I rented a track prepped 2016 MX-5 and it was the most fun I'd had in a while. Hadn't driven anything as light since my 69 911.

I love my 981, but at 2900 lbs it's not what you would call tossable. That sent me down a rabbit hole. I want a ~2200 lb car and being a Porschephile, that puts me in an awkward position. 356s and longhood 911s are in unobtainium territory these days. 1/2

I think Intellectual Property had its chance to prove worthwhile but I’m more and more considering it a failed experiment. The supposed protections for the creator to spur innovation in reality is just a tool for corporations to crush innovators.
