USPS Informed Delivery is now a total fraud. The e-mail is supposed to be a notification of the delivery having occurred. Instead, every morning the e-mail arrives, delivery is 7 hours later or not at all.
Another "good" one is that my box is the last for delivery on this street. The letter carrier puts every forgotten piece in my box, so I get mail for the entire street.
I need a stamp that says "delivered to wrong address."

I thought the Greensboro Coliseum's original look dating back to 1959 was the nicest one. I can't remember it back to that year, but by 1965, I would have a memory of it.
Curved roof, lot of blue on it. Looked great.
Now it looks as attractive as McDonald's current sterile depressing look.
Round it out with the new bank name it was given, nasty.

I was just thinking about older Internet days (dial-up, Windows 95) when we first got things going at home.
I remember seeing people trying to surf the net with BonziBuddy covering much of the screen, singing, chatting away. Everybody I asked about it would defend it, "It helps me surf."
Then, almost every business website had the Foresee analytics popup at the beginning and end of a visit wanting you to do a survey to "ensure satisfaction."
I hated that popup with its stupid red triangle.

My Opera (defunct) web community friend since 2003 in Iran told me that net was shortly to be cut as the war started. Messenger status went to offline at that point and has not been back.
Tonight I tried traditional text (SMS) and a voice call in the hope it would flow through traditional phone system versus Internet. Neither will complete.
Last few messages before the cut included, "I'm in the suburbs, probably be OK."

She's a High Point University favorite. She also gave me the creeps for years because of her pic hanging over the escalators at Greensboro GSO Airport.

I was driving a rental car today. Things happen in those that don't happen in that old pickup I own.
I had the car in reverse when the steering wheel started shaking along with "beep, beep." How handy. A car was approaching from the side that I hadn't even seen yet.

We have some very cool neighbors that have a 50's DeSoto, a 60's VW microbus, and a Tesla parked outside, and a fleet of bicycles in the garage.
The Tesla has a bumpersticker on it that says "we bought this before we knew about Elon."
I wouldn't even put that on it. I could care what people drive.
We used to call their place "the vampire house" because they were never outside during the day. Night workers, I guess.
They put great political signs on their fence facing the busy street.
