@RolandRides@mastodon.social @FakeScrumStats@techhub.social Trust me, the quirks and thoughts my last CEO put into code from 2001 which was still running production was understandable on a technical level.. until you didn't because you couldn't comprehend how many .. lets call them "optimisations" went into the code and how it all fell apart when you changed stuff without checking the 3rd circle of hell beforehand
