Absolutely wild how many men make patronising comments on linkedin posts and have the "open to work" flag on, to not even have the sense to think prospective employers might be women and will scan your activity on there is something else

The fun part is that I gave claude a few shots at building it, it's a low stakes project, I don't really care about the implementation and just need something that works, but it failed miserably because it's a relatively novel app using niche libraries that aren't well documented and will be almost non existent in training data, but it's a super simple system I could teach a beginner coder to build

I explain that, if they don’t write the code, they will not be able to effectively read the code. The ability to read code is certainly going to be valuable, maybe more valuable, in an AI-based coding future."
